The Challenge
Samsung needed a way to introduce the awesome new 8K video snap feature of the GalaxyS21 to a whole new generation.
The Solution
So we created the epic #VideoSnapChallenge. A campaign that said goodbye to dances and conformity, and a loud ‘hello’ to the creativity of TikTokers around the globe.
We created a simple framework for users to bring their creativity to. Tiktokers had 15 seconds to do something fun and unique that came together as a layered video of themselves.
We collaborated with cultural powerhouse 88Rising to create an entirely original track to accompany our filter. Users loved it so much it became a global hit and helped launch the career of rapper Warren Hue - you can check out the original track we made specifically for the campaign below.
The result
Users took to the filter in insane numbers -
7+ Million pieces of UGC achieving 40+ Billion views.
100+ influencers from 14 markets.
